Cari Campbell, Owner/CEO, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and International Studies from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, after working as a paralegal/law clerk for five years in the Dubuque area. Thereafter, she attended law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was at the top of her class in Legal Research and Writing, Business Organizations, Property Law, and Federal Administrative Law.
Cari moved back to Dubuque in 2009 where she served as a prosecuting intern at the Dubuque County Attorney’s Office. Subsequently, she began working in the nonprofit world assisting Dubuque-area nonprofits with various legal and growth needs including strategic planning, grant writing, strategic restructuring, and board development. She also assisted numerous startups with bylaw writing and achieving 501(c)(3) status. She opened Cari Campbell & Associates, LLC, a successful grant consulting firm, in 2009, focusing primarily in the elderly and healthcare niche. In 2013, Campbell began expanding her knowledge base to include a compliance-related specialty within the industry. She has been sought after and hired by large, multinational consulting firms for various ad hoc projects related to compliance and fundraising consulting. In 2013, Campbell formed Elder & Healthcare Business Corp, which consumed Cari Campbell & Associates, LLC in 2015.
In her spare time, Cari speaks nationally at conferences on topics such as grant funding, diversifying funding streams, and building and evaluating effective compliance programs. Campbell also owns Campbell Legal, a law firm based in Kieler, Wisconsin, and Salubrious Retreat Corp, a women’s wellness retreat company.
Cari has combined her passion for helping others, attention to detail, analytical approach, and entrepreneurial spirit to create a highly sought after consulting firm.
